This table is from Pottery Barn, and retails for $1,400....the tables we saw today were just as beautiful in my opinion, and they ranged from $300-500. I HAVE to go back and get one of these tables one day! So so beautiful!
This looks JUST like the fan I passed up for $60. I'm kinda kicking myself for letting it go. I should have tried to talk the lady down on her price. Isn't it neat?! And it worked!
I did walk away with six of these though...
They retail at Pottery Barn for $24 each, and I paid $7 and $8 each for the ones I found. And I found Pepsi and Coca-Cola ones. I plan to use them at our wedding reception somehow.
Kendall found this very very cool antique tin wash stand thing (I don't really know how to describe it). We decided it would make a great standing cooler for parties (and receptions!). And my mom was able to walk away with a large pretty wrought iron plant stand. We saw it and asked about the price, and the lady quoted $100 for it, which I knew was well more than what my mom had in mind to purchase it. While my mom was looking at it some more, the lady noticed my engagement ring and of course starting asking all about my wedding plans. Then my mom comes back and we get talking about how both my sister and I are getting married this year. After a 15 minute conversation, the lady decides she wanted to just give my mom the plant stand! She said it was her gift to the "mother of the brides!" How sweet is that??
So all in all, it was a great day at the market. So nice to spend the day with my mom and mother-in-law :)
